To ensure that our freight invoicing is correct it is important that our check in is provided with accurate information on the load and its weight. Unless the customer already has delivered the information in advance, i.e. with fax or mail, we require that complete freight documents are presented at our check-in office. This is also needed in order to comply with the security regulations (ISPS) and rules for carriage of dangerous goods. Additionally many public fees are based on the load weight.
We don’t correct or credit already invoiced weights in customers favor unless the incorrectness is clearly caused by our mistake. We ask you kindly to improve the routines with the freight documents so that the check-in office is always provided with correct and complete freight documents at the moment of check-in, as it is regulated in the law.
