Sustainability

Sustainability is an important part of Viking Line’s operations. We work to reduce emissions through renewable fuel solutions, technological development and improved energy efficiency. We also focus on using resources more efficiently and reducing waste.

Our sustainability work

Our roots are in the Åland archipelago, and environmental considerations have long been part of our sustainability work. Since the 1980s, we have taken a range of measures to reduce the environmental impact of our operations. Below, you can read more about some of our efforts over the decades.
